I woke up and my edges were starting to get really messy, so I based this outfit on the headscarf that belongs to my Grandma. I always feel love and strength around me when I wear anything of hers and it revived my hair for one more day.
I can't say that I've always loved the idea of wide legged, elongated shorts, they remind me of when my mum used to make me wear them (yes, this is at least the second time they have come round), but culottes have hit the streets big time! As I hate the high street, I was reluctant to give them the time of day. But I needed a few things recently and prepped myself for Westfield. (I really hate shopping centres too!)
I'm having to admit that I'm bloody loving culottes this time around. I cannot get enough of them and wondering how many pairs a woman can own before it starts to look like an obsession? I found the perfect length for my long legs, with a concealed side zip and a bulk free waistband, which sits wide and flat around your waist, so super flattering. What I love most about them is that I went to work, at a desk, and then out for dinner without feeling like an office bore - Perfect. Actually, I felt quite stylish and sexy as I sashayed my way to my table reservation. Yeah, I just said 'sashayed'. The shape of the leg means they kind of whoosh around a bit and as weird (just bear with me here) as this sounds, that feels kinda nice. Remember spinning around in your favourite skirt as a kid? Well it's a bit like that!
If you fancy sashaying and whooshing around but adult style, go and get yourself a pair now and tell me where you find your perfect pair too!
