I’m so excited to collaborate with hanahana beauty for their second stop of yoga + chill:Start the day with an invigorating yoga session with me followed by an afternoon of wellness workshops.

From tarot reading with the amazing Leona Nichole Black, to a DIY mask bar + herbal blends session, it's a fun chance to meet like-minded ladies while you enjoy a drink and nibbles on the house.

So what is Sweatlife?
Sweatlife is back - and this year it's bigger and better than ever. We are taking over the Tobacco Dock in East London 22-24 June, for two days of sweaty, stretchy, thought-provoking fun. Join us for 48 hours of the best workouts the city has to offer, yoga with local and globally renowned teachers and inspiring panels with thought leaders from the fitness and wellness community.

If you like your yoga served up with a an extra side portion of sass, "come thru, I've gotchu". Expect an unapologetic vinyasa yoga flow, where you’ll be invited to embrace your body and its movement in all its imperfect perfection, create a little heat on the mat and connect to the breath as we shed some layers and look for our bodies. 

Together let’s inhale the good-good vibes and exhale what’s no longer serving us, to a fiyah playlist or urban tunes and beats.

A special edition of Gyal Flex - London's first Hip Hop Yoga & Meditation event - where the combination of traditional yoga and meditation practices meet a fiyah playlist of pure bangers (Hip Hop, R&B, Soul and maybe a dash of reggae!) for black women.

If you haven't reached a Gyal Flex before - here's a little bit about how things go down!

Expect to throw it down on the mat as we move through a soulful Vinyasa Flow. You'll be flowing and vibing to a carefully curated playlist to help you create a liccle heat in the body. Then give your mind a chance to relax, come into the present moment and fill your heart up with good-good vibes as we slow down, close our eyes, ground and breathe together.

  • Doors open at 9:45am

  • Class starts at 10am

  • Mats are provided, but feel free to sweat on your own

  • Optional, but a cosy hoodie and socks for savasna and meditation are never a bad idea

  • Do I need a strong meditation or yoga practice? No, you're all good, I gotchu
